Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, technical school certification, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in shipbuilding, vessel maintenance, marine operations, industrial equipment installation, commissioning, manufacturing, or related technical fields
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, propulsion, networking, or automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, installation procedures, and test documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Ability to work onboard vessels, in fabrication facilities, around heavy equipment, and in waterfront environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across technical and operational teams
- Willingness to travel in support of vessel testing, demonstrations, customer support, and operational deployments
- Marine propulsion, shaft alignment, rotating equipment, or machinery installation experience
- Experience with laser alignment tools, surveying equipment, metrology systems, or precision measurement equipment
- Experience supporting customer acceptance testing or operational readiness activities
- Familiarity with aluminum vessel construction, modular assembly, or advanced manufacturing environments
- Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasional standing and walking within the office
