Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering teams to review EPC designs, submittals, and construction plans
  • Align cross-functional disciplines including mechanical, electrical, civil, and controls systems
  • Support adherence to safety standards, permitting requirements, and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in project engineering, construction, or project management within power plants, energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure environments
  • Experience supporting full project lifecycles, including development, permitting, engineering, construction, and commissioning
  • Familiarity with EPC environments, including contract development, execution, and contractor performance management
  • Working knowledge of construction administration processes such as RFIs, submittals, and change management
  • Experience contributing to large-scale capital projects, including at least two full

About This Role As part of Intersect's Datacenters and Fuels team, you'll help deliver complex power plant projects that enable critical infrastructure at scale. You'll partner closely with a Project Manager to support execution across the full project lifecycle-from early development through construction and handoff to operations-while building hands-on experience in large-scale infrastructure delivery. This role offers broad exposure across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and contract management. Your work will help ensure that critical power infrastructure is delivered safely, on time, and with high technical and operational quality, while giving you the opportunity to grow into increased ownership over time. Team Overview The data centers and fuels portfolio spans datacenter implementation to power generation, creating opportunities to tackle complex technical challenges while driving meaningful impact.
