Tender Engineer

About the role

Julian Grey's client is an established company in the construction sector.

Responsibilities

• Review and summarise tender enquiries, including basic technical requirements, site-related information and tender scope.
• Evaluate basic technical enquiries, support site visits or reconnaissance, and gather relevant information for bid preparation.
• Conduct quantity checks, prepare preliminary costing, and source supplier pricing to support tender submissions.
• Draft offer letters, bid documents and submission materials, including compiling all required supporting documents.
• Assist in developing bid strategies, cost calculations and risk assessments while supporting achievement of HSEQ targets and objectives.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders, and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in design, site, tendering or proposal-related work.
• Able to review technical enquiries, perform quantity checks and support preliminary costing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
