About the role
Start date: 1 st October 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter ARU London offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Business and Management; Finance and Accounting; Hospitality, Events and Tourism; Health; and Law. We currently have over 5,000 students, located very close to the East India Docklands Light Railway stop and close to the vibrant Canary Wharf area. We are now seeking to recruit an experienced, student-centred and innovative education-developer as Head of Learning, Teaching and Assessment. The Head of Learning, Teaching and Assessment will be responsible for leading and managing operational and strategic activities and interventions to advance learning, teaching and assessment and the curriculum, and to provide support to the Principal for related strategic matters, including external indicators. The post holder will deliver induction and continuing professional development (CPD) for academics and act as a student-centred role model for academic colleagues whose primary role is learning, teaching and assessment. The successful applicant will preferably have significant prior experience as a successful education developer within a University Academic Practice department.
