Job Summary The Charge Nurse will be responsible and accountable for organizing, directing, and evaluating the overall nursing quality of care rendered in th e Ambulatory Care Specialty clinics in a particular clinic or during an assigned shift . The Charge Nurse would provide oversight of the non-licensed and licensed clinical support staff to ensure accountability using the nursing protocols to guarantee the safety and quality of care for every patient assigned to the clinic. Under the direction from the Clinic leadership , works to enhance the throughput while enforc ing safety management programs to include the observance of universal precautions, prevention of workplace injuries and other infection control policies and procedures . The Charge Nurse will conduct non-surgical in-office procedures/services and other duties as needed .
