Job Description Summary The Systems Service Engineering Manager - Molecular Imaging, is a key member of the Systems Engineering leadership team responsible for leading the Service Engineering team across Molecular Imaging product platforms. This role drives Design for Serviceability (DFS), service strategy, diagnostics, installation, calibration, maintainability, reliability, and field support readiness throughout the product lifecycle. The leader manages a team of Service Engineers and partners closely with Systems Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing, Reliability, and Global Service teams to deliver highly serviceable, reliable, compliant, and customer-focused solutions. Job Description - Lead and develop a high-performing Service Engineering team supporting Molecular Imaging products and platforms. - Drive Design for Serviceability (DFS) requirements and ensure service considerations are integrated into system architecture and product design. - Ensure establishment of service requirements, traceability, verification, and validation plans across the product lifecycle. - Drive service engineering strategies related to installation, calibration, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, field modifications, upgrades, and repair. - Partner with Product Engineering, Systems Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Reliability, Manufacturing, and Service Operations teams. - Lead service engineering team activities across multiple new product introduction (NPI) and sustaining programs. - Drive resolution of complex field issues and product serviceability challenges. - Develop technical roadmaps that improve service efficiency, uptime, product quality, and customer satisfaction. - Champion continuous improvement, harmonization, and adoption of engineering standards and best practices. - Manage resources, priorities, and technical execution across multiple programs. - Coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus. - Influence strategic technology decisions and support business planning activities. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline. - Minimum 4 years of experience in Systems Engineering or Service Engineering, Product Development, or related technical functions. - Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience. - Experience leading multidisciplinary teams developing complex systems integrating hardware, software, and customer workflows. - Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional technical programs. Desired Characteristics - Experience in Molecular Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, SPECT/CT, or other medical imaging modalities. - Strong understanding of Design for Serviceability (DFS) methodologies. - Strong customer focus and understanding of field service operations. - Knowledge of requirements management, risk management, verification and validation practices. - Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
