JOB DETAILS Base pay rate starts at $28.00 per hour Shift: Day Shift, Full Time, Monday through Friday DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our dealers, distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. Transport goods to various destinations, often across state lines Load, secure, and unload cargo safely Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of working hours and miles driven Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies Use GPS and other tools to plan efficient routes Coordinate with dispatchers and communicate effectively with clients and co-workers Monitor traffic and weather conditions to ensure safe driving practices Ability to lift up to 60 pound bundles To perform satisfactorily in this position, the employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily The requirements listed above are representative of knowledge, skills, and/or ability required Reasonable accommodations may be made for employees with certain disabilities to perform the essential functions Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License 2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable) Clean driving record Hands on delivery experience Multi-drop delivery experience a plus Ability to work independently or with a team Ability to plan and manage time efficiently Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions Site Address: 151 Judge Don Lewis Blvd, Elizabethton, TN 37643 Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?
