Responsibilities

  • Building Inspection & Quality Control:
  • Conduct inspections of structural, architectural, and finishing works to ensure compliance with approved designs and material specifications.
  • Verify construction activities against FAA, ICAO, IBC, NFPA, and local building codes applicable to airport facilities.
  • Monitor concrete works, steel structures, roofing, glazing, flooring, ceilings, partitions, and fireproofing .

  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on construction quality and safety compliance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting construction challenges and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Safety & Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to aviation safety standards , including fire resistance, wind loads, seismic requirements, and accessibility codes.
  • Conduct safety inspections related to airport infrastructure and report potential risks.
  • Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies for high-priority buildings.
  • Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management .
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in building inspection, construction supervision, or quality control , preferably in aviation projects.
  • Certifications:
  • Construction Quality Control (CQC), LEED, or OSHA certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with airport construction standards and regulations .
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of structural, architectural, and finishing works in airport environments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and inspection reporting tools .
  • Soft Skills:
  • Stron g problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with strict timelines.

  • Compensation Range:
  • $64,994.00 - $73,856.00

Job Summary: The Inspector is responsible for overseeing the inspection and quality control of airport buildings and infrastructure, including terminals, aviation buildings, and support facilities . The inspector ensures that all structural, architectural, and finishing works comply with project specifications, building codes, safety regulations, and aviation industry standards.
