About the role

Location: Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford, OX3 7LF Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health) is home to world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The Clinical Trial Service Unit (CTSU) is a major international research institute within the NDPH, and is a world-leading centre for large-scale research into the causes, prevention and treatment of chronic diseases (such as cancer and cardiovascular and kidney disease). We are seeking an Analyst/Programmer with skills to support and develop IT systems used to conduct large-scale clinical studies. The role involves the full application life cycle, including developing, refining and testing applications used to manage our studies. To be considered for the role, a BA, BSc or similar or equivalent experience in software development is required along with experience in a selection of the following: C++Builder, C/C++, Delphi or other similar languages. You will also have excellent communication skills with a positive attitude to acquiring new skills and taking on new responsibilities. The position is full time (although part time considered) and fixed term for 2 years. The closing date for applications is noon on 9 July 2026.
