Regulatory Compliance Officer (Banking) Job Responsibilities Monitor and interpret regulatory developments and assess their impact on the bank's operations and business activities. Provide regulatory compliance advisory to business units on applicable laws, regulations, MAS notices, guidelines, and internal policies. Conduct compliance reviews and monitoring programs to assess adherence to regulatory requirements and identify control gaps. Support the implementation of new regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks across the organization. Review and update compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations. Liaise with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders on regulatory matters, inspections, and inquiries. Prepare regulatory reports, compliance management updates, and governance committee materials. Provide compliance training and regulatory awareness programs to employees. Support compliance risk assessments and contribute to the development of risk mitigation measures. Assist in regulatory projects, policy enhancements, and remediation initiatives arising from audits or regulatory reviews.
