Responsibilities

  • Defines and implements overarching strategies to ensure high-quality website content across Texas A&M Engineering while maintaining brand standards.
  • Aligns website content, maintenance and communications strategy to the College of Engineering and TEES strategic plans.

  • What we need:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
  • Five years of communications and/or marketing experience.
  • What is helpful:
  • Experience writing for the web with an emphasis on content strategy and optimizing content for search engines (SEO).
  • Working knowledge of federal, state and university accessibility standards.
  • Technical expertise in a variety of online platforms and solutions, including Cascade, WordPress, LiveWhale, Siteimprove, and others closely tied to website strategy.

The position implements a comprehensive communications program to include website content, website content governance and marketing strategies for the Texas A&M College of Engineering (COE) and Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES). Working within strategic communications, the position ensures that all web content advances enterprise priorities, reflects brand and messaging standards and supports integrated storytelling across the Engineering enterprise. Alongside cross-collaborative teams, this position coordinates and oversees comprehensive plans and uses data to inform future tactics.
