As the Scheduling Officer , you will be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team that is committed to creating a welcoming, professional and caring environment This is an exciting opportunity for a Home Care Scheduler to join St Vincent's @ Home based at our Community Care office in Arundel. Successful applicants will share a genuine desire to care and assist clients with a strong person-centred care focus, whilst working along with other departments within the care services. It involves balancing client preferences, clinical priorities, staff availability, travel efficiencies, funding requirements and responding to same-day changes while maintaining service continuity. This is a full-time position based at our Arundel Community Care Office, with standard office hours from Monday to Friday. The role also includes participation in a rotating on-call roster approximately every five weeks, which covers weekend support. A hybrid working arrangement is available, allowing one day per week to be worked from home. Things that work for us: Relevant experience in a similar role scheduling staff within a community/facility ensuring prompt and accurate services Experience with scheduling and attendance systems (Dynamics 365 Velrada, Field Services App, Kronos and Workday desirable) High level of customer service skills The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Ability to prioritise competing demands, make sound decisions under pressure, and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders Ability to manage unplanned absences and urgent schedule changes Work in accordance with individual care plans and organisational policies, procedures, and Care Partner guidance Work collaboratively with Care Partners, Nursing, Clients, Support Workers and external providers to ensure safe and effective service delivery Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities National Police Certificate (within the last 6 months) NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
