ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Owns complex analytical initiatives from intake through implementation, including problem framing, KPI design, data logic, analysis, insight synthesis, and stakeholder communication. Leads cross-functional analyses spanning multiple domains and data sources, translating ambiguity into structured workplans and defensible recommendations. Leads the development and delivery of executive- and clinician-ready presentations that synthesize complex analytical findings into clear business implications, tradeoffs, and recommended actions. Facilitates analytical discussions with senior leaders and clinical stakeholders to align on performance drivers, intervention opportunities, and measurement approach. Designs and evaluates metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and decision-support tools that improve visibility into performance, risks, and opportunities. Applies a broader range of advanced analytical approaches, which may include forecasting, regression, driver analysis, scenario modeling, segmentation, and statistically grounded evaluation of interventions or performance changes. Partners closely with report developers, data engineers, data scientists, and other technical teams on solution design, logic validation, scalability, and implementation quality. Identifies root causes and systemic issues in data, processes, and operating workflows aligning stakeholders, and coordinating timely resolution; recommends practical changes with measurable business impact. Mentors Associate and BI Analysts by reviewing work, strengthening thought process, and modeling strong communication and business partnership. Establishes and maintains project, process, and solution documentation, including business rules, analytical assumptions, metric definitions, and implementation considerations to increase quality, consistency, and reuse. Designs and models stronger AI-assisted workflows with support of Leads & Managers to improve analytical efficiency, synthesis, hypothesis generation, documentation, and productivity while ensuring high standards of validation, privacy, and judgment. Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Advanced-to-Expert SQL and strong comfort working across complex data structures and business logic. Advanced dashboarding and data storytelling capabilities, especially in Power BI and executive-facing presentation formats. Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through high-quality executive storytelling, clear visuals, and confident presentation of complex analytical topics to senior business and clinical audiences. Demonstrated ability to advise stakeholders, not just respond to requests; able to shape the question and the decision path. Strong cross-domain thinking, including ability to balance speed, rigor, and operational practicality. Strong workstream leadership skills, including agenda-setting, milestone management, escalation handling, and documentation of analytical and operational decisions Comfort with intermediate-to-advanced statistical methods and when to use them appropriately. Healthcare domain depth required; experience in Medicare Advantage, provider-risk/value-based care, population health, utilization, quality, access, specialty, or network analytics strongly preferred. Strong AI literacy with the ability to structure effective prompts, critique outputs, improve workflows, and coach others on responsible use. Spoken and written fluency in English.
