A successful candidate must develop a technical proposal and estimation sheet for SPS solution (LSS/GCS/Microgrid/RAS), capable of read and understand the RFQ and Tender documents, well familiar with GCS coding, Microgrid controller and RAS coding, Master in Codsys/IEC61131, able to mentor the automation engineers to continue develop their skills in coding and design documents, lead and preform the GCS Project pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities and must hold excellent knowledge to execute all SPS project. As a Project Engineer - Automation a typical day might include the following: Possessing, understanding, and applying the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of power system automation and related SEL products Training and assisting customers with the creation, design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation systems Prepare and maintain detailed design documents, reports, checklists, test reports, and deliverables Participate in the preparation of functional design specifications Lead in assigning, completing, and implementing work within agreed upon scope, schedule and budget to a high level of quality and safety This job might be for you if: Possess a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline Have an interest in electric power systems and protective relay applications Are open to travel both domestically and internationally at least 40% Want to gain experience with power transmission, distribution, or generation systems Are interested in expanding your knowledge by learning new skills and assuming new responsibilities to grow into the role of an independent engineer Enjoy working cooperatively in a team environment Location India - Bengaluru Why SEL?
