Job Description Summary Job Description Role Summary/Purpose: The General Manager, GIPC Ultrasound is accountable for shaping and executing the strategy to advance a world-class product and solutions portfolio. The GM directly leads all CIPC Ultrasound product management, clinical, and technology functions, while building strong partnerships and alignment with cross-functional commercial and marketing teams to deliver differentiated customer value, strengthen market leadership, and accelerate sustainable growth. This role owns both the strategic direction and operational performance of a complex, multi-segment business-driving product roadmaps, clinical innovation, new product introduction, KOL engagement, and go-to-market execution-while ensuring strong financial outcomes. The GM also leads integration across critical horizontal functions, including quality, supply chain, regulatory, and marketing. Essential Responsibilities: Strategy & Growth Define and lead the vision, strategy, and long-range roadmap for GIPC Ultrasound across relevant markets. Translate market, customer, and industry insights into actionable strategies that drive growth, differentiation, and share gain. Establish clear segmentation, positioning, and value propositions aligned to evolving customer needs. Product, Innovation & Execution Responsible for GIPC Engineering team to shape and execute product roadmaps, accelerate innovation, and ensure successful New Product Introductions (NPI). Lead a global, cross-functional team to execute against strategic priorities, removing barriers and driving accountability. Integrate clinical, research, and technology capabilities to deliver impactful, customer-centric solutions. Own and deliver on key financial metrics, including revenue, margin, and productivity. Partner across operations to drive quality, supply chain performance, and scalable growth. Ensure disciplined operating mechanisms and execution rigor across the business. Strengthen external engagement through key opinion leaders (KOLs), customers, and strategic partnerships. Attract, develop, and retain top talent; build a high-performing, inclusive culture grounded in engagement and accountability. Coach and empower leaders to deliver results while fostering innovation and continuous improvement. Reinforce a culture of integrity, compliance, and operational excellence Basic Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related discipline, or experience of progressive responsibility in engineering, business or commercial leadership. Specific healthcare industry or GE experience leading a GE business unit. Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management team. Ability to engage with and deliver GE value proposition to senior level contacts within account and/or prospect organizations. Strong demonstrated communication skills, articulating complex ideas in an easy-to-understand manner. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills as evidenced by ability to build support, loyalty, and commitment across diverse and global teams. Desired Characteristics: Advanced degree in Business, Product Management, Engineering or Science Technical expertise in Ultrasound Deep Product, Clinical, Technology & Scientific Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of patient/customer and segment related clinical applications and workflow as well as scientific/engineering methods/theory with an affinity for technology and clinical solutions. Innovative and disruptive mindset with proven record of leading successful digital product transformation Proven track record to lead and drive global teams to deliver on business and program goals Previous experience in regulated medical device company. Six sigma/5S/Lean trained For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $264,000.00-$396,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
