Responsibilities
- Work within a station that is part of a robotic welding line for the robot to weld a unit using standard build process. Follow all production processes to maintain a consistent workflow to ensure safe operations, quality product and consistent delivery.
- Assemble/fit together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies in a robot fixture
- Use various hand tools such as grinders, scrapers, or other types of finishing tools to ensure quality product
- Control operation of robot, cleaning and inspection.
- Read and understand operation standard, as needed, such as blueprint.
- Manual movement and lifting by clamping parts together by hand and/or using hand tools.
Requirements
- High School /GED diploma preferred (required to maintain the pre-treatment system only)
- Ability to comply with safety standards (full body Tivex suits, air purifying respirator)
- Technical ability to escalate issues when identified
- Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead
