Positions in this classification perform skilled work and specialize in at least one trade in connection with the maintenance, repair and/or construction of buildings and facilities and related equipment and machinery. Work is subject to review while in progress and upon completion. Work is reviewed through personal inspection and is evaluated for the effective and efficient utilization of materials, equipment and labor, and for compliance with instructions and work orders. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Range: $35,596.00 - $62,294.00 Recruitment Range: $35,596.00 - $62,294.00 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred: At least two (2) years of lawn/landscaping/groundskeeping experience. At least three (3) years of painting experience. This position is designated as mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events and/or other emergencies. Flexibility is required for training/education purposes and to meet the needs of the facility ABOUT THE FACILITY JFK-ADATC is a 68-bed inpatient treatment facility designed to meet the needs of adults with substance use disorders from the 44 westernmost counties in North Carolina. The facility treats individuals with substance abuse and psychiatric diagnoses. JFK-ADATC is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations as a Behavioral Health facility and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as an inpatient psychiatric hospital.
