Position Purpose : The AI Security Architect within the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer supports the secure adoption of artificial intelligence across BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina by translating AI risk, security, privacy, and compliance requirements into practical architecture patterns, control requirements, and implementation guidance. The role partners closely with Enterprise Architecture, I/S delivery teams, Data Governance, Privacy, IAM, Vendor Risk, CSOC, Legal, Compliance, Audit, and business owners to ensure AI solutions are designed, reviewed, monitored, and operated with appropriate safeguards. Review systems for potential improvements and present recommendations to the Architecture group and IS Senior Management. This position is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future. Location: This position is full‑time (Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week), consisting of a mandatory three days in the office Tuesday-Thursday and two days working from home Monday/Friday (please note at times there may be a business need of in office depending on workload and priority level) in Columbia, South Carolina.
