Responsibilities
- As a Product Reliability & Quality Engineer, you play a key role in New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring world-class automotive quality and reliability from development to early production.
- You have ownership for the quality aspects of new product development, qualification, problem resolution, and release to production.

- New Product Introduction & development :
- Lead and coordinate quality and reliability aspects during product development and qualification
- Provide technical direction for defectivity screen development, Design for Reliability, Design for Manufacturability, Zero Defect Initiatives and pre-qualification evaluations.
- Define and drive qualification strategy, safe launch, and zero-defect initiatives
- Perform risk assessments with statistical data analysis and ensure mitigation plans are in place
- Translate customer and market requirements into quality plans (APQP, checkpoints, Extended mission profiles, etc.)
- Lead product teams through quality issue resolution using problem solving methods (8D problem solving, FTA, 3x5Whys...)
- Ensure readiness for release to production with high automotive quality standards
- Change management Quality support
- Define qualification requirements for various manufacturing changes (fab, assembly, burn-in, test, transfer).
- Interface with internal and external factories on reliability and quality topics for released products.
- Lead product teams through quality issue resolution using problem solving methods.
- Customer Support
- Support customers with technical reliability and quality consult.
- Work with customers to address product reliability and quality questions.
- Engage with customers on new products.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent
- 5/7+ years of experience in semiconductor / automotive quality or engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of: Quality & reliability methodologies (FMEA, 8D, DOE, statistical analysis)
- Semiconductor manufacturing and assembly processes
- Design and/or application experience
- Automotive Qualification and NPI processes (AEC)
- Ability to: Work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Lead cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders
- Drive structured problem solving and risk-based decision making
- Furthermore, you are:
