About the role
Northeastern University is a national leader in cooperative education in which students alternate between academic study and work experiences. The Office of the Chancellor is seeking a Co-op Coordinator to work with students, with an initial focus on Khoury College of Computer Sciences. This position is a full-time, non-tenure track, 12-month faculty position. You will join a team of highly motivated, professional, collaborative individuals who provide an outstanding cooperative education program to the students of Khoury College.

Requirements
- A master's degree in college student development, counseling, education, psychology or an industry-related field, is required by the appointment start date, as well as a minimum of three years of work experience
- Teaching experience in a classroom environment or comparable experience with presentation skills in a business or workshop environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and comfort presenting to diverse audiences.
- Experience working with a varied staff and/or student population.
- Proficiency in computer/technology and database maintenance, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge and appreciation of cooperative education and/or experiential learning and its impact on an individual's career development.
- Ability to effectively engage a diverse network of global stakeholders, across time zones.
- An academic degree in a related tech profession, or experience in career development and counseling of tech students.
- Experience as a career coach, certification preferable, but not required.
- Professional experience within the tech industry is a plus
