This position offers an exciting opportunity to play the primary role in supporting concerts and major live events at Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center while also assisting with event operations for our 23 UW athletic programs. In this role, the Senior Event Manager will serve as a key liaison for event promoters and production managers throughout every stage of the event process. Responsibilities include communicating with partners during pre‑event planning, overseeing on‑site execution, and assisting with post‑event settlement. The position requires careful coordination of all event needs based on client contracts, production riders, and venue requirements to ensure every detail is executed at the highest level. Alongside concert and special event duties, the role also includes supporting the broader event management team working at various athletic contests and department events. Candidate will have primary responsibility for managing a specific sport, depending on departmental needs and the candidate's strengths. The ideal candidate will be passionate about booking, concerts, and live events, and will demonstrate strong motivation, adaptability, and the ability to remain level‑headed in a fast-paced environment. Success in this position requires a team‑oriented mindset, a strong work ethic, excellent organization, and creativity in problem-solving.
