Responsibilities

- Classification: Exempt Position
- Reports to: Maintenance Manager
- Work Environment : Heavy industrial setting will be involved in working around molten metal.
- Physical Demands: Standing for long periods of time, walking to different parts of the plant as needed, may involve some lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Position type and expected hours of work: Full time hours schedule is day shift, and hours are minimum of 40.
Requirements
- Supervisory experience to include training, performance reviews, disciplining employees.
- Familiar with purchasing contracts, blueprint reading, preferable post high school.
- Willingness to take management classes.
- Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiar with MDU EHS policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and make decisions.
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a group.
