Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with main contractors to plan and monitor civil and infrastructure work progress, ensuring alignment with project schedules
• Supervise construction activities to verify compliance with contract drawings and specifications
• Prepare detailed correspondence reports that include corrective actions and value-added recommendations based on best practices
• Maintain accurate daily work records, including documenting additional work claims for clients and subcontractors
• Perform other assigned ad-hoc duties to support project objectives
• Required competencies and certifications
• Apply knowledge of civil and infrastructure works to effectively oversee construction projects
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Manage work schedules including six-day work weeks and shift work during critical project phases
• Operate effectively while stationed at the site office
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry
