Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with your fellow Paramedics, EMTs and management to assure top tier patient care.

  • Operate and drive the ambulance in accordance with safety policies and laws, showing due regard for all applicable State and Regional Regulations (DMV & DOH)
  • Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
  • Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
  • Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.
  • Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Perform other duties as required/assigned.

Requirements

  • Pennsylvania Paramedic License
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record (must have had driver's license for a minimum of 2 years)
  • Valid CPR Card for the Health Care Provider
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs or more
  • Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • EMSVO (preferred)
  • Must be able to obtain a command letter from previous command doctor prior to orientation
  • Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test

Title: Paramedic Location: Bensalem, PA Employment Type Available: Full-time, must have overnight and weekend availability Base Pay Rate Range: $35 - $42.50 per hour, based on experience Pay and Bonus Incentives: $20,000 sign-on bonus for full-time $21,000 sign-on bonus for full-time (military veterans) $10,000 sign-on bonus for part-time Base Pay Rate Range: $35 - $42.50 per hour, based on experience Competitive Productivity Bonus for every shift Night Shift Differential Overtime pay opportunities Referral Bonus opportunities (refer EMTs and/or Paramedics)
