About the role

You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NSF Diego Garcia ofUS NAVY SUPPORT FACILITY DIEGO GARCIA . Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in programs and procedures relative to fuel distribution, handling, and storage facilities, and contractor performance including: 1. Knowledge of the Navy's shore facilities planning system, contract management practices, and funding procedural controls related to fuel facilities projects planning and execution. 2. Resolving fuel issues with conflicting program requirements and reviewing supply programs for adequacy, efficiency, and ability to identify processes in need of improvement. 3. Applying contract provisions and clauses related to contractor performance, with the ability to execute ACOR responsibilities. 4. Advising Contracting Officers on the progress of fuel distribution operations and facilities projects.
