About the role

This COMMAND AND CONTROL SPECIALIST position, is located in the Wing Command Post (Command and Control Section) of a Rescue Wing and is part of the CA 129 RQW. This is an open until filled announcement. The announcement will be posted until all positions have been filled. General Experience: Possess experience, education or training in interpreting and applying published directives or regulations; and experience communicating with others. COMMAND AND CONTROL SPECIALIST, GS-2101-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level experience in mission planning for preflight, in-flight, ground or command and control (C2) duties according to specific transportation functions; experience in receiving, interpreting, extracting and disseminating relevant data for mission planning or execution and experience in coordinating and negotiating with organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve differences/problems.
