Associate / Senior Associate, Global Financial Markets, Australia

Responsibilities

• Advise on a wide range of financing transactions, including cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters
• Work closely with partners and colleagues across global offices to deliver seamless, integrated client solutions
• Take an active role in transaction execution, including drafting, negotiation, and client management
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives
• Contribute to the development of junior lawyers and participate in knowledge sharing across the practice
• 2-4 years' PQE (UK equivalent), with qualification in a Commonwealth jurisdiction
• Experience in one or more of the following: General banking
• Infrastructure / project finance
• Leveraged finance
• Restructuring
• Asset finance
• Structured finance
• Strong technical and transactional skills, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality legal advice
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across jurisdictions and cultures
• Excellent academic credentials and strong commercial acumen
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
• Proactive approach to business development and client relationship management

We are seeking a high-performing Associate (1-3 PQE) to join our Global Financial Markets (GFM) practice in Australia, based in Sydney or Perth. This is an exciting opportunity to work on market-leading, complex transactions as part of a globally integrated team.
