JOB DESCRIPTION: POSITION PURPOSE Responsible for fabrication, supermarket, and assembly operations while managing the efficient flow of materials throughout the plant POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Man age in termi tt ent ta sks rela ted to ma terial suppl y at work stations , including co ordination of car t moveme nt betwee n fabrication and assem b ly a nd vir tual car t managem ent in Ma nufa ctu ring E xecut i on System (MES ) Support daily value stream operations by providing coverage or assistance as needed to ensure production remains on schedule . Rotate between multiple workstations during each shift to support operational coverage, maintain workflow efficiency and ensure production continuity Adhere to standard work, Job ‑ Based Analyses (JBAs), control plans, work instructions, and quality specifications. Partner with support staff to ensure standard work documentation remains current, accurate, and aligned with defined production output Use MES and manufacturing systems knowledge to train and support value stream employees in daily job activities and issue resolution Coordinate and manage abnormal production line conditions, including skips and rework, to minimize operational impact Adherence to safety, quality, 5's standards ( Sort , Set in Order, Shine, S tanda rdize, Sustain) ; general housekeeping T imely release materials to designated stations while supporting execution of the production plan Use standardized work to follow and comply with safety and quality requirements Show initiative by seeking additional responsibilities, building knowledge of Andersen's products, and working collaboratively as part of a team to assist coworkers when needed Participate in on-the-job training initiatives and transfer skills learned into daily work Demonstrates a positive, collaborative leadership style by leading by example, promoting Andersen Management System ( AMS ) principles, communicating with clarity, and actively engaging and developing team members Maintaining consistent and reliable attendance, punctuality and dependability to support team operations and meet performance expectations W illingness to cross-train on several operations within the value stream Assist with mai ntai ning an d util izing the associate training matrix MINIMUM QUALIFICATION , SKILL AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing, production, or supply chain High school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience Basic (or intermediate) computer skills Knowledge of product, process and customer expectations within the value streams (upstream and downstream) May operate multiple types of P owered Industrial Truck (PIT) such as forklift with push/pull, walkie rider, and tuggers Ability to sort units and handle material from multiple areas throughout the plant. Strong ability to navigate and interpret data from off ‑ system platforms and operational reports (WMS, MES, BAAN, shortage reports, etc.) to assess situations and take appropriate action. Ability to read invoices, packing slips, emails and reports to determine correct location for delivery Possess problem solving, communication, teamwork and leader initiative General knowledge of Lockout/Tagout. Demonstrate strong competency in safety compliance, quality standards, proactive initiative, effective training participation, and a positive professional attitude PHYSICAL DEMANDS FOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely push and/or pull up to 124 pounds of force. Climb stairs/steps as needed.
