As a Sales Leader , you will lead a team of self-motivated, high-achieving sales professionals helping regional and community banks grow their businesses. You will be responsible for guiding your team in expanding relationships with FIS core clients by identifying and driving the sale of new products and services. In this leadership role, you will coach, develop, and empower your team while ensuring consistent execution of sales strategies. By delivering industry-leading solutions through your team, you'll help drive some of the most exciting new technologies in fintech while advancing the way the world pays, banks and invests. You will lead a Regional and Community Banking team consisting of sales executives focused on serving existing FIS core clients. The broader regional and community banking sales organization includes 30+ sales executives across four regions, with each region consisting of approximately eight sales executives. Your team will be a diverse group working with banks ranging in size from de novo institutions to $5B+ in assets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Executives to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Establish strong relationships with executives at assigned banks alongside your team to understand their business strategies
  • Guide your team in building technology plans that align with client business goals
  • Drive identification of opportunities for new products and services across assigned accounts
  • Support and oversee the sale of new products and services to regional and community banks
  • Provide strategic direction, deal coaching, and executive-level engagement on key opportunities
  • Ensure consistent pipeline management, forecasting, and execution of sales strategy

Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing sales teams
  • Strong ability to understand banker challenges and align solutions that drive client success
  • Expert negotiation, communication, and influencing skills
  • Experience presenting at the executive level (CEO, CIO, COO, etc.)
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals through team performance
  • Ability to travel 15% - 25%
