Our BMC Inpatient Pre-Op & PACU offers support and comes fully equipped to help you do what YOU do best, provide care for our patients! DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Pre-Op PACU for Adults and Pediatrics This unit has a highly experienced team that prepares and recovers adult and pediatric patients for the operating rooms. Our unit supports the main level 1 trauma OR at Baystate Medical Center which includes twenty four operating rooms. This is a high acuity, fast paced, patient focused, and collaborative environment. SCHEDULE: Schedule: Full-Time, 10 hour shifts, 40 hrs per week; 6:00 AM or 9:00 AM start times Weekend Requirement: Participation in weekend shifts is required On-Call Requirement: Participation in a rotating weekend on-call schedule, including daytime and overnight coverage, is required Weekend & Call Frequency: Staff typically work 4-5 weekends per year and are assigned weekend on-call coverage approximately 4-5 weekends per year; actual scheduling may vary based on departmental need THE ADVANTAGES OF WORKING WITH BAYSTATE!
