MeBe is seeking a Lead Speech Pathologist to provide both clinical leadership and high-quality speech-language services within a collaborative, play-based environment. This role balances a clinical caseload with on-site leadership responsibilities, supporting and mentoring Speech-Language Pathologists while ensuring strong clinical standards, efficient scheduling, and consistent program quality. The Lead Speech Pathologist serves as a key clinical resource for the team, partners with interdisciplinary providers, and supports community outreach efforts to strengthen MeBe's presence and impact with families and referral partners. This role must be on-site at one of our San Diego locations: Kearny Mesa, Chula Vista, or Carlsbad About You: You take pride in your work, pay attention to the small details and have a reputation for doing high quality work. About What You'll Work On Management of a clinical caseload of 30 billable hours and Lead SLP administrative duties of 10 hours per week on site Responsible for community marketing efforts, including presentations, marketing drop offs to PCP offices, and MeBe clinical presentation coordination Ensure SLPs onsite are supported clinically Motivates employee performance and addresses performance issues as needed after discussing with the clinical director Manage oversight of SLP scheduling to ensure adequate administration times, adequate evaluations and available billable hours of each SLP Responsible for weekly audit of SLP assessments and materials onsite (checking levels and needed orders) Implement quality, evidence-based, individualized treatment and group treatment to promote a variety of skills in a fun and naturalistic play setting, as well as parent education Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors Collaborate with MeBe employees and outside professionals Act as point person onsite for consultations (including scheduling with providers and other necessary parties) Qualifications and Skills Required: Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology with ASHA CCCs and State Licensure required Experience of 5+ years in early intervention treating developmental delays/disabilities Professional, outgoing, warm and friendly demeanor Timely, organized, dependable Ability to meet deadlines and coordinate communication with outside professionals
