Role Summary Reporting to the Manager, Cash Management and Settlements , the Analyst supports the effective execution of treasury operations and settlements for investment portfolios. This role requires rigor, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment where accuracy and meeting deadlines are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the daily processing of cash flows and settlements for securities and financial instrument transactions
  • Perform bank and position reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports (daily, monthly) for managers and stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in settlement processes
  • Collaborate with various internal teams (Front Office, Treasury, Accounting, etc.) and external counterparties to ensure smooth operations
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and the implementation of enhanced controls
  • Support projects related to system optimization and task automation
  • Required Qualifications
  • University degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field .
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in financial operations, treasury, or securities settlement.
  • Strong knowledge of settlement systems and banking platforms.
  • Proficiency with computer tools (advanced Excel, operations management systems).
  • Bilingualism English and French *Frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa
