Responsibilities

  • Clearly understand customer requirements, and current EMS System status. Design appropriate algorithm/logic to meet customer requirements.
  • Analyze S/W defect and debug S/W issues, find root cause. Give the solution to improve functionality or fix issues.
  • Verify the S/W, ensure the functionality and quality.
  • Provide expertise and support application team on EMS calibration and algorithm questions.
  • Become the functional expert in assigned module/sub-system.
  • Comply with safety related regulations and rules; Complete all safety training; Participate in and be familiar with the company's emergency process; Achieve the company's safety KPI.

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Vehicle Engineering or Internal Combustion Engine required . Master 's Degree is preferred.
  • Experience/Special Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge about internal combustion engine including detailed understanding of each vehicle system component, especially the engine, transmission and emission control subsystem.
  • 1- 5 years of industry w ork experience related to gasoline engine.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Willing to continuously learn new technologies.
  • Certain knowledge about algorithm development and C language.
  • MATLAB capability (Simulink, Stateflow...) is required, auto - coding knowledge is preferred.
  • Good language skills in oral and written English.
  • At least C class driver license.
