About the role

As a Team Lead for Government-Wide Acquisition Programs, you will lead a team of Operations Research Analysts. Location of position: GSA, Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Office of Strategy and Innovation (OSI), Governent-wide Acquisition Services (GWAS) team. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. The GS-14 salary range starts at $125,776 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must meet the basic requirements. Basic Requirements: Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus. Applicants must submit a copy of their college or university transcript(s) and certificates by the closing date of announcements to verify qualifications. If selected, an official transcript will be required prior to appointment. To qualify, you must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the federal service. Specialized experience is: Applying (mathematics, statistics) qualitative and/or quantitative methods to explore trends, track metrics, and identify leading indicators for a management program; Creating automated reports to create forecasts, models, and return-of-investment (ROI) projections; and Synthesizing category management program information for customers.
