About the role

CACI is looking for litigation support professionals to support the Department of Justices' mission. The U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division (CRT) enforces federal laws that protect individuals from discrimination and safeguard constitutional and civil rights. To support this mission, the Office of Human Resources and Security (OHRS) provides essential HR services that ensure the Division maintains a qualified and effective workforce. OHRS is experiencing increased workload due to recruitment activities, staffing transitions, and ongoing HR initiatives. To maintain efficient operations and compliance with Department of Justice and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) requirements, contractor support is needed to assist with administrative and technical HR functions. The Litigation Support Analyst role is an excellent opportunity for advancement for someone with prior litigation support experience. This role provides individuals with increasingly more customer interaction and increased responsibility in the development of case support including performing moderately complex research and detailed data analysis using automated litigation support and eDiscovery tools and resources (Relativity). You may also serve as team lead to review and provide oversight to Litigation Support Analyst I and Document Management Technician positions, to add supervisory skills to further your career potential. Responsibilities

  • The objective of this requirement is to obtain contractor support for administrative, processing, records management, and reporting activities that support daily HR operations. This support will allow federal HR staff to focus on higher-level advisory and strategic human capital functions.
  • Assist with processing and tracking personnel actions, including SF-52 and SF-50 transactions.
  • Generate, review, and reconcile HR reports; support data calls and audits.
  • Maintain electronic Official Personnel Folders (eOPFs) and HR records in accordance with federal requirements.
  • Track HR actions, maintain logs, schedule meetings, and prepare routine correspondence.
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries and refer complex matters to HR specialists, as appropriate.

  • Timely and accurate processing of assigned HR actions.
  • Regular status reports on completed and pending work.
  • Accurate maintenance of HR records and tracking systems.
  • Reports and reconciliations as requested by management.
  • Review documents for relevance according to established guidelines and criteria.
  • Perform legal and administrative duties as requested by attorneys for Section investigations and trials.
  • Assist with case organization and maintenance; plays integral role in preparing team for witness interviews, discovery, and trials.
  • Provide in-courtroom assistance, exhibit collection and review, and legal research as needed based on trial demands.
  • Utilize eDiscovery platforms to perform document review, communicating detailed summaries and analyses of findings.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with DOJ components, Federal agencies, counsel, and others as needed.
  • Organize and prioritize numerous tasks effectively and completes tasks under strict time constraints.
  • Work on multiple cases simultaneously and multi-task with minimal supervision.
  • Log and organize incoming and outgoing discovery productions.
  • Proofread material as needed for contextual, grammatical, and formatting errors.

Requirements

  • Required:
  • Undergraduate degree or three years of experience on major litigation support projects
  • Highly organized and demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Must have excellent writing skills and oral communication capabilities.
  • Requires hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment.
  • A knowledgeable user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems.
  • Deliver consistent high-quality work product in a deadline driven environment under extreme pressure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources
