About the role
Objective / Summary of the Position A Logistics Operations Analyst provides customer-focused solutions in support of operational objectives and business development strategies. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics to improve inventory accuracy, reduce carrying costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Duties & Responsibilities Apply Lean and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance warehouse productivity, optimise resource utilisation, and reduce operational waste Identify process gaps, design solutions, and lead end-to-end improvement initiatives, including implementation and change management Monitor and analyse operational KPIs, productivity metrics, and inventory accuracy, providing actionable insights to management Analyse financial and billing data (e.g., P&L, cost drivers) to support decision-making and improve profitability Partner with Key Account Managers to support customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Automation, Innovation, WMS) to implement and optimise warehouse technologies and systems Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports to support real-time visibility of operational performance Conduct root cause analysis on operational issues (e.g., discrepancies, delays, inefficiencies) and recommend data-driven corrective actions Essential Educational Background and/or Training Qualifications & Certificates Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred) or Continuous Improvement methodologies is an advantage Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or supply chain digital tools preferred Relevant certifications in Data Analytics (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SQL) will be an added advantage Working Experience & Knowledge / Technical Skills Preferred 1-3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain analytics Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret operational and financial data Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and PowerPoint Experience in data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage Basic understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems Strong problem-solving skills with ability to perform data-driven decision-making and root cause analysis Personal Attributes / Behavioural Competencies Good communication skills Strong problem-solving and attention to detail Positive attitude and willingness to learn
