Commercial Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of commercial management of Tankers/parcel chemical tankers/Dry bulk fleet or any other type of ship managed commercially by Commercial Services engaged on voyage charter / time charter / Contract of Affreightment, etc.
• Plan and execute procedures for bunkering, issuing of cargo / customs /freight documents, stowage plans, invoicing etc. and prepare voyage analysis result.
• Monitor performance of vessels relative to c/p requirements on TC or voyage basis including speed and consumption
• Identify any underperformance in a timely manner and take action to remedy any underperformance, and continuously seeks opportunities to improve performance and efficiencies
• Mitigate potential issues with difficult cargoes, ports or trading areas
• Relationship management with all stakeholders
• Liaise within the Group and other business divisions to create synergies and project opportunities
• Set KPIs for performance of team and monitor operational performance
• Create market analysis & reports of different shipping sector
• Preparing monthly / weekly reports as required to assist with shipping asset protection work/restructuring undertaken with different banks and financial institution.

Requirements

• Management of relationship with Customers, Charterers, Agents, Terminals, Cargo Receivers etc to ensure that service levels are maintained.
• Degree in Nautical Sciences, Marine Engineering or other related discipline.
• Experience in Commercial operations and chartering
• Candidates with Master Mariner License will be preferred.
• Experience in Tankers, dry cargo and PCTC will be preferred.
• Experience in LPG Tankers will be preferred.
