Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management and environmental permitting experience.
  • Bluebeam and P6 experience a plus.
  • Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cross-functional and positive working relationships with internal and external teams.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting requirements including: Clean Water Act Sections 401, 402, 404
  • Stormwater Construction General Permits
  • Threatened and Endangered Species requirements
  • Air Quality permitting and compliance
  • SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure)
  • RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act)
  • Wetlands and aquatic resource permitting and compliance
  • Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, utility, energy, or large-scale industrial construction projects.

  • Experience using Enablon environmental management software.

Additional Information

ERM is hiring an Environmental Construction Compliance Manager (ECM) embedded with a key technology client in Reno, Nevada . This role will be a key player in both the strategic development and compliant execution of environmental permits for data center projects in the Reno metro area during their construction phase. The ECM will support environmental compliance programs associated with the construction of large-scale data center infrastructure projects. This role serves as a key liaison between construction teams, environmental permitting specialists, regulatory agencies, consultants and operational stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery while maintaining environmental compliance standards. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) on-site limited-term role with a 12-month duration, with a possible renewal.
