Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in psychology, counselling, early childhood, or a related field. We also welcome applications from A-Level graduates who are keen to gain hands-on experience, have a positive learning attitude, and are passionate about supporting children with diverse needs.
  • A genuine interest in working with children with special needs and supporting their overall development.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail in documenting behaviour and progress.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • A compassionate and proactive attitude, with a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.

Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychology Intern to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work with our child psychologist to assist in implementing interventions, and support strategies that enhance the well-being and development of our students. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for students or recent graduates in psychology, counselling, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and impactful environment. Internship Duration & Commitment Commencement period: Aug/ Sep 2026 - Jan/ Feb2026 Minimum commitment: 5-6 months full time (as required under the NYC Internship Programme). This is a full-time internship. Applicants who are attending classes or pursuing full-time studies concurrently will not be considered. Schedule: Weekday commitment 9.30am- 6.30pm (details to be discussed during interview)
