System Administrator for Qatar

Responsibilities

• Design,
• deploy, configure, and maintain Brocade SAN switches.
• Linux
• servers infrastructure administration and performing operational
• support activities (installation, configuration, upgrades, patching,
• troubleshooting, performance tuning)
• Oversee
• EMC Networker and Veritas NetBackup infrastructure to ensure that
• best practices and in place and the infrastructure is optimized for
• performance and reliability
• Work
• with the team to restructure the existing backup infrastructure and
• set a strategic plan for disaster recovery.
• Provide
• technical leadership in the design, installation, configuration, and
• implementation of VMware products and services.
• Terms

VAM Systems is currently looking for System Administrator for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Skill Set required: Minimum of eight 8 years of experience engineering solutions and instrumentation for EMC, Hitachi and Axiom Pillar Storage Area Networks (SAN) for mission critical, enterprise applications and databases 8 years Experience with Linux Red Hat, RHCE will be an advantage EMC and NetBackup backup product strong experience is required Hand on experience with VMware technologies, VMware Certified Professionals is a plus Should have extensive technical knowledge and experience in operational maintenance, availability, capacity planning, and monitoring of critical Storage Area Networking (SAN) Key
