Procurement Analyst

About the role

You will serve as a PROCUREMENT ANALYST in the Contracts Directorate of NAVAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating audit reports, regulations, and other material as a basis for implementing agency guides or procedures; 2) Providing solutions to complex and controversial contracting and acquisition problems; 3) Presenting controversial and critical observations, findings, and recommendations for substantive changes in operations; 4) Interpreting acquisition and contracting policies and procedures; 5) Conveying written information in a clear, concise, organized and convincing manner to all levels of industry.
