City, State: Bridgewater, New Jersey The purpose of an Event Coordinator is to support both internal and external customers as it relates to Event Coordination; to work with Sales, hotel operational departments and third party food and beverage outlets to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post-event phases of the group. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in tracking Events revenue. Finalize and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for all events within the 10-day forecast to internal departments. (Group Billing) Distribute Daily Events reports to ensure effective communication across departments. Answer phones and route Events sales inquiries to the appropriate Sales Manager. Create and communicate event resumes for small group bookings. Ensure that reader boards are updated daily with current event space information. Maintaining the Group Transportation Log and communicating with carrier Processing Marriott Bonvoy Points and eBonus Points Producing breakfast and dinner vouchers as well as menu cards Assist the Events team with promotional mailings, file maintenance, and organizing sales materials. Follow up on special banquet event arrangements from Director, to ensure compliance. Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.
