About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workday Analyst with expertise in Time & Absence and Core HCM to join our HR Technology team. This role requires judgment in selecting the right methods and techniques, strong collaboration with senior stakeholders, and the ability to work independently on diverse, complex challenges.
Responsibilities
- Workday Configuration & Development
- Serve as the primary SME for Workday Time & Absence, designing, configuring, and implementing scalable solutions.
- Develop and maintain time tracking and absence plans, accruals, eligibility rules, and time-off frameworks that meet business and compliance needs across multiple geographies.
- Configure and enhance business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, and advanced reports specific to Time & Absence.
- Partner with HR teams to analyze business rules, local regulations, and translate them into accurate system configurations.
- Optimize business workflows by automating manual tasks, improving user experience, and delivering actionable insights through reporting and dashboards.
- Collaborate with payroll and HR operations to ensure seamless integration between Time & Absence, Core HCM, and other workday modules.
- System Support & Enhancements
- Monitor system performance and resolve Time & Absence-related issues, including accrual discrepancies, leave calculations, and time-tracking errors..
- Ensure system compliance with security and data privacy requirements.
- Participate in Workday releases, assessing new features, and recommending adoption strategies for Talent Management modules.
- Partner with ServiceNow HRSD platform for intake, triaging, SLA adherence, and resolution tracking of Workday cases across all modules.
- Collaboration & Training
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless processes and integrations.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and knowledge articles to ensure adoption of Time & Absence tools.
- Act as the subject matter expert for Workday Core HCM functionality.
- WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience with strong focus on Time & Absence (including eligibility rules, accruals, absence plans, time tracking).
- Strong technical expertise in Workday configuration, including business processes, calculated fields, reporting, and integrations.
- Proven ability to gather requirements, analyze diverse business rules, and deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
- Experienced in Agile environments and tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery platform, with strong knowledge of SLA management, ticket triaging protocols, and HR case handling.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment on diverse, complex issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR, Payroll, and IT functions.
- Collaborate regularly with US-based teams and stakeholders, which might require working during late IST hours, to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of global initiatives
