General Service Worker

About the role

This position is located within the Maintenance Branch at the United States Bullion Depository of the United States Mint in Ft. Knox, Kentucky. Duties will include janitorial services, basic facility maintenance, operating a motor vehicle and stocking supplies throughout the building. The employee will be required to pick up all necessary supplies that range from cleaning supplies, office supplies, maintenance supplies, restroom supplies and all furniture needed. PHYSICAL EFFORT Employee lifts and moves various items that can weigh up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Occasionally moves items that weigh 100 pounds with assistance of various moving equipment. Physical effort could also include changing a tire and making limited emergency repairs on vehicle. Mowing the grass and snow removal requires physical efforts in various types of weather. AND You must show in your experience in the online application that you possess the knowledge, skill and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
