General Manager - Contract Manufacturing

Requirements

• Post graduate degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; graduates with relevant experience may also apply
• 15+ years of experience in operations or related field preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking and change management skills
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage contracts, and establish and control budgets

Roles and Responsibilities: Work with the COO to define the terms of contract and identify and onboard third-party manufacturers for Ashirvad products. Own the relationship with the contract manufacturers and manage budgets pertaining to them Define, execute, and approve production process followed by the contract manufacturer (MOQ, production window, zero production) Establish the KPIs for contract manufacturers and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess them Propose, execute, and approve Trial Batch / Filling Trial / Zero Production Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and share production plans with contract manufacturers to ensure effective utilization of resources Work cross-functionally to ensure production schedules align with the customer commitments, and any deviations are proactively shared with relevant stakeholders Conduct annual/ bi-annual audits of contract manufacturers to ensure adherence to all certification requirements, statutory and Regulatory requirements, Legal requirements (all Corporate Governance Compliance) Prepare periodic production related MIS reports for each contract manufacturer such as in progress production, inventory, actual vs. planned production data, production levels of different SKUs across all product categories etc. Manage scale-up production, approve and document manufacturing instructions Define, approve, execute, and monitor quality standards at the contract manufacturing site. Operating budget: To be filled by Ashirvad Direct reports - x; Indirect Reports - y : To be filled by Ashirvad. Achievement of production target as per quality Demand-Supply mismatch Improving operational flexibility, increasing capacity, shortening lead times for each contract manufacturer Achievement of established KPIs by all contract manufacturers % Adherence to all compliances by each contract manufacturer
