Welder trainer Welder Trainer Location : Chennai Contract : Permanent Office/Hybrid: Monday - Friday Hours : Full time Job Profile : Engineer / Grade 7 Description of role: We are seeking a welder trainer who will be a part of TWI India team in Chennai. This position requires a candidate who can design and deliver programs, teach welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, soldering), safety, and metallurgy, assessing student skills through hands-on practice and exams, while maintaining equipment, updating curriculum to industry standards, and mentoring individuals for certification in technical schools, clients, corporates, Government skill parks and individual customers. Boiler inspector certificate will be an added advantage. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing welding training programs, ensuring high-quality instruction and compliance with industry standards, while demonstrating strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and commitment to safety. You will work proactively as a detail-oriented team player with excellent communication and courtesy, supporting both national and international customers through outstanding service. The position also requires a willingness to challenge and develop yourself and your team and involves travel to represent the organization professionally across different locations.
