Responsibilities
- Student Recruitment & Outreach:
- Recruit prospective students for the Master of Social Work program across both online and in-person modalities.

- Deliver program presentations and informational sessions to prospective students, highlighting program offerings, admissions requirements, and enrollment pathways.
- Applicant Advising & Application Support:
- Provide individualized guidance to prospective students throughout the admissions process, including application completion, document submission, and program requirements.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and virtual platforms, delivering timely and accurate information.
- Advise applicants on admissions criteria, deadlines, and next steps to facilitate successful application completion and enrollment.
- Admissions Coordination & Processing:
- Support the review and progression of graduate applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of required documentation.
- Maintain and update applicant records in the student information system, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with academic program leadership and graduate admissions teams to support enrollment goals.
- Orientation & Onboarding:
- Coordinate and manage new student orientation programs for admitted graduate students.
- Facilitate orientation sessions (virtual and in-person), ensuring students are prepared for program start.
- Serve as a point of contact for new students, supporting their transition from admission through matriculation.
- Student Engagement & Communication:
- Maintain consistent communication with prospective and admitted students to encourage engagement and enrollment.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies (email, phone, virtual engagement) to support yield efforts.
- Build relationships with students to promote a positive admissions experience and support retention from point of admission.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6) .
- Experience working in a higher education environment, preferably within admissions, enrollment management, or student services.
- Prior experience in admissions, including application processing, student advising, or recruitment activities.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Slate for managing prospective student and applicant data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manage, analyze, and report on data using spreadsheets.
