Facilities Operations Specialist

About the role

You will serve as a FACILITIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the U.S. Naval Computer and Telecommunication Station, Guam of NAVAL COMP TELCOM AREA WESTPAC. Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: 1. Conduct technical evaluations of personnel, equipment systems, and facility inspections. 2. Review and recommend actions for engineering plans (BESEP) agreements (ISSA/MOU) and Contracts. 3. Resolve engineering issues and oversee all system installations, modifications, and upgrades. 4. Liaise with agencies to optimize project scopes and align infrastructure with mission needs. 5. Evaluate maintenance workflows and performance to maximize operational efficiency. 6. Conduct site surveys and negotiations to define mission-critical upkeep and capabilities. 7. Supervise equipment lifecycles and support systems operational verification testing (SOVT). This position is within the Work Category Technician & Administrative Support at Work Level III, Series and Grade GG-1640-11.
