Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Manage and monitor subcontractors, technicians, and workers to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Ensure all site activities comply with company policies, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules before execution.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders on project progress and site issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor material deliveries, equipment usage, and inventory requirements at the project site.
• Identify potential risks, technical issues, and delays, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on project status.
• Assist in project documentation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Diploma, Higher National Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in: Civil, Electrical ,Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant site supervision experience in electrical, mechanical, M&E, construction, or industrial projects.
• Experience supervising electrical installation projects is an advantage.
• Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants is preferred.
• Working Conditions
• Primarily site-based with occasional office work.
• May require travel between multiple project sites.
• May be required to work extended hours depending on project schedules and deadlines.
