- Leadership & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training .
- Advanced degree in software engineering preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in software or platform engineering, including senior leadership ownership of observability at a large ‑ scale enterprise
- Demonstrated success building and leading global teams from India , including managers and senior technical leaders
- Proven ability to operate at scale, influence executive stakeholders, and balance strategy with hands ‑ on execution
- Strong people leadership skills with a track record of growing engineering talent in India
- Technical Capability
- Extensive experience deploying and operating Splunk, New Relic, and Grafana LGTM stacks (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir/Prometheus) at enterprise scale
- Deep understanding of observability principles across Metrics, Logs, and Traces (MLT) and service telemetry
- Strong experience with instrumentation strategies , telemetry pipelines, data ingestion, retention, querying, and visualization
- Experience with OpenTelemetry ( OTel ) ecosystems (instrumentation, collectors, exporters) strongly preferred
- Solid background in cloud ‑ native architectures , Kubernetes, microservices, and distributed systems
- Operations & Reliability
- Deep experience leading incident management workflows using PagerDuty, ServiceNow, and AIOps tools
